There are currently no COVID 19 regulations in force.
Should the situation change, then TWDS will follow GOV & DVSA guidance.
TWDS is committed to safeguarding your health and keeping your driving lesson safe; the safety of customers is paramount.
This COVID 19 policy is designed to help reduce the risk of you contracting or transmitting COVID 19 while taking driving lessons.
Symptoms.
COVID 19 (& its variants) is a highly transmissible virus
Common symptoms include:
persistent, dry cough
high temperature (>38C) / fever
unexplained loss of change in sense of taste/smell
headache
nausea
What is expected of you.
Please inform you instructor immediately if you, or any members of your household, have been exposed to, have symptoms of or tested positive for COVID 19.
Please answer any questions regarding your exposure to, or symptoms of, COVID 19 truthfully and in full.
Please consider whether one or more of your family members are considered ‘vulnerable’
Please inform your instructor if you have recently travelled abroad or to a festival where they my have been potential for exposure.
What is expected of me.
The instructor will inform you if they have potential exposure to, symptoms of or tested positive for COVID 19
Driving lessons may be cancelled or postponed until a suitable later date, with any pre-paid credit being honoured.
COVID 19 Safeguarding Measures
Inform one another of symptoms or potential exposure
Regular hand Hygiene
Distance as best possible
Sanitise high touch areas
Deep clean of car
Increased Ventilation
Face covering (if required)
Avoid contact (eg no shaking hands)
Avoid unnecessary items or baggage
No cash payments
TWDS reserves the right to cancel or postpone any driving lessons should COVID 19 symptoms be suspected.
Please note, as we are unable to achieve full social distant due to working at a confined proximity, despite best precautions, TWDS is unable to guarantee you will not be exposed to COVID 19 during your driving lesson/s.
