TEST NERVES?

First things first - nerves are no use and do not help you drive better!

Nerves reflect in the drive; rushing at junctions, hurrying to pull over, making rash observations, missing vital examiner instruction, etc

Here are some tips;

  • PRACTISE, PRACTISE, PRACTISE - identify where you are not confident and get more practise!

  • TIME - the longer you learn, the more confident you will feel.

  • FOCUS- give every lesson, private time in the car and the Test your full attention

  • THINK POSITIVE - a positive mental energy will reflect in the drive (a calm confidence)

  • PEER PRESSURE - avoid pressure from friends, family & work to achieve a pass

  • PRIVATE PRACTISE - if you do not feel ready and are unable/not willing to take further lessons then increase your private practise time in your own car

  • GET BACK ON THE ROAD - should you fail, do not give up/stop lessons until your next test, get back on the road and continue to get extra practise and work on your errors
